Dr Ranasinghe has been my Consultant Dermatologist for a number of years and I have absolute confidence in her. She is always engaging, friendly and professional. I have never felt rushed in any of my consultations. I would also like to give a mention to Anna Bianconi-Moore the Dermatology Nurse Specialist and her team. All are thoroughly professional and have provided me with a first class service. My recent Daylight PDT treatment has been a revelation!

I was really put at ease when I first met Dr Aruni Ranasinghe and had my first consultation with her. Thereafter, I was very pleased with the care and attention I received throughout my treatment and would add that all my appointments were on time.. She is very sensitive to every situation and I felt very comfortable and confident in her care. She also has a good sense of humour! I would highly recommend Dr Aruni Ranasinghe.

I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Ranasinghe- she is a great doctor, caring, sympathetic and skilled. The treatment and advice she gave me for my rosacea has been incredibly successful and I feel confident to face the world again. The only doctor I have ever seen who truly understands the awful impact of facial problems- I was even given make-up suggestions to help. Fantastic!

After 6 months of living with an awful rash over my whole body I booked an appointment at to see Dr Ranasinghe. Best thing I ever did. I had months of seeing different doctors at my surgery and all had different opinions. I was put ease straight away, listened to and felt reassured that my skin condition would be managed. I was prescribed various medication to take over the next 4 weeks and then go back to see to see her. Skin was great on my return visit. I left with a detailed plan on how to manage my condition over the next 3 months. I spent months worrying until I saw Dr Ranasinghe and now I feel reassured that all will be ok. Would definitely recommend.

I was in quite a mess, really ill. Following an initial outbreak of Eczema and Urticaria I was given creams, then steroid creams, increasing in strength over months, then prednisilone, again increasing amounts over months, I was eventually referred to West Suffolk Hospital. I was fortunate to get an appointment with Dr Ranasinghe within a few weeks. Prior to this we had moved from the northwest, to Eye in North Suffolk. We had purchased a restoration project which was suspected of potentially causing the problems. I was examined, tested, watched carefully. I was taking various prescribed medications which results proved were not necessary and so she told me to stop taking them. Seretide 500, Amlopodine, Ezeterol. I was required to have biopsies taken along with patch testing, followed by a team meeting with colleagues. Dr Ranasinghe decided to put me on Azathioprine to wean me off prednisilone. This has taken a while but was very successful, immediately relieving the symptoms and I have been clear now for a year! She is a wonderful lady, thoughtful and with a very pleasing disarming manner. She helped me feel that I was being given the best care possible and in fact I was. There have been no side effects and no noticeable damage to my skin. A really bad situation turned into a successful result. She is an expert in her field, in all respects and I will always be thankful to her for her wonderful care and attention.
